Founder of De Fietsfabriek USA Jon Lind and Consul General of the Netherlands Bart van Bolhuis take to the streets of San Francisco on Dutch bikes.
De Fietsfabriek (literally translated as “the bike factory”) is a Dutch family-owned business that has been selling bikes designed for everyday transportation since 2003. Based in Amsterdam , the company made its first inroads into the US market with the opening of a store in Chicago in 2007. De Fietsfabriek USA , operated by Chicago native Jon Lind, brings the Dutch manufactured bikes to the streets of Chicago , with aims to expand to additional markets in the US , including Los Angeles and New York .
As part of its West Coast Tour, De Fietsfabriek USA is taking to the streets of San Francisco . Consul General of the Netherlands , Bart van Bolhuis, joins Jon Lind for a ride in the city that is also the new home to the Dutch Consulate, which opened its doors this week in the One Montgomery Tower .
Join the ride on Friday, January 8th at 9:00 am, starting at the Warming Hut at Chrissy Field and ending at One Montgomery Tower (corner of Kearny and Post).
